The SW series uses .006-inch 316Ti stainless inner wall with a .007-inch outer wall, while HT steps up to .012-inch inner for oil and coal applications. • White efflorescence or rust streaks on the exterior chimney brick. This means exhaust gases are escaping through pinholes in the liner’s outer wall, condensing in the air space between liner and masonry. In Chicago’s freeze-thaw climate, this accelerates mortar joint deterioration.
